The Galveston Island Visitor Information Center, operated by the Galveston Island Convention and Visitors Bureau, is located in two locations on the Island: 2027 61st Street, and in a satellite location at 2215 Strand in the Old Galveston Square building.

From Bolivar Peninsula:
Starting from Crystal Beach, travel approximately 10.7 miles to the Bolivar Ferry. Upon exiting the Ferry, take Ferry Road (SR-87) approximately 1.4 miles to Seawall Boulevard. Bear right onto Seawall Boulevard. Soon Seawall Boulevard merges into Broadway. Turn left (south) onto 6th St. (University Blvd.) and immediately bear right (southwest) onto Seawall Boulevard. Travel west along Seawall Blvd. for approximately 4.5 miles to 61st St. Turn right onto 61st. Travel down 61st approximately 1.25 miles to 2027 61st. The Center will be on your left.
